Library Computers, Printing, and Scanning

The Library offers 26 PCs (Windows-based) on the main floor for public use, 3 of which are express 15-minute stations.

Patrons may log on to a library computer with a Library Card.  Computers are available on a first come, first served basis for up to two (2) hours per day. All computer users agree to follow the library’s Acceptable Use Internet Policy.

All PCs can access the Internet, are loaded with Microsoft Office, have USB 2.0 ports and headphone jacks, and are networked to color laser printing @$.25/page. We offer basic printing services and unfortunately cannot accommodate personal printer paper or stationery. If you need to use custom paper, we recommend visiting a full-service printer, such as Staples or Haverhill Print Cafe. 2 self service scanners are also available with a 15 minute time limit.

Electronic Devices Available for Check Out

The Haverhill Public Library has several different types of electronic devices that can be checked out by patrons.  These include laptops, hotspots, Rokus, a Kindle Paperwhite (3 week checkout period), and an external disc drive.  These items must be checked out in-person, most circulate for seven (7) days, and they cannot be renewed.  Patrons assume all responsibility for these items while in their possession, including any replacement or damage costs, and have a late fee of $5 per day.  Patrons can reserve a device through the online catalog or by calling the library (978) 373-1586 x603.  DO NOT return devices in the book drop or automated return, please return to a staff person at the Circulation Desk during open hours.
