  • 11am-12pm: Ita Bags! Making, Learning, Trading! By Akira The Red of The Cosplay Crowdツ – Milhendler Room
    Are you interested in finding your Ita-Style? Come join us to find out all kinds of tips & tricks from someone who can’t go 3 seconds without thinking about ita bags! Learn what to pack for cons, how to decor for your style, and most importantly; make some new friends!!

  • 11am-2pm: Facepainting outside of Children’s Room
  • 11am-2pm: Boogalow’s Island BBQ Food Truck outside of library main entrance
  • 12pm-1pm: Cosplay Q&A with cosplayers OkiNowaki and NerdCred Cosplay – Auditorium
  • 1pm-2pm: Zombie Trivia – Milhendler Room
    Test your zombie knowledge and win prizes!
  • 1pm-2pm: Kevin Urban presents Voice Matching Icons: Marvel to Master’s of the Universe – Auditorium
    A panel exploring the niche art of voice matching legacy cartoon characters for tie-in merchandising. Korg & Miek for Marvel’s Avenger’s Academy, released to celebrate Thor: Ragnarok. Also covered is my experience recording with the developers of Fox and TinyCo. to help voice match the iconic character He-Man & celebrity James Earl Jones for the Family Guy mobile game. Great for all ages, and fans of local artists working with national characters.
  • 1pm-2pm: The Saber Guild Padawan Training – library side lawn
    Padawan Training is geared towards younglings between the ages of 6 and 10 who are ready to start their Jedi training. Each trainee will be shown the basics of using the Force, and how to handle a lightsaber from a true Jedi Master. Sessions last about 20 mins.
  • 2pm-3pm: Cosplay Contest – Auditorium
    Show off your best cosplay! All ages welcome. Please remember this is a family event, so all a costumes should be appropriate. No realistic weapons.
  • 3pm-4pm: How to make an anthropomorphic animal OC – Milhendler Room
  • 3pm-4pm: Japanese Culture and Anime presented by OkiNowaki – Auditorium

FAQs

What does it cost to attend?
Nothing! Attending the con is completely free.

Do you have an ATM on site?
There is no ATM in the library. Some vendors may have square readers to take card payments, but it’s safe to come with some cash on hand.

Where can I park?
The library has a parking lot, but with an event such as this it will fill up quickly. There is free street parking available on Summer St, Ginty Blvd, and Bailey Blvd. Market Basket is also a short walk away.

Is there public transportation?
The Downeaster commuter rail stops in Haverhill and is about a 16 min walk away from the library. There are also several bus stops in the area. Visit here to view your options.

Will there be food available for purchase?
Yes! The library will have a small concession table that sells snacks such as chips and candy for $1. Boogalow’s Island BBQ will be here from 11-2.

Can I dress up?
Yes! We encourage folks to show off their best cosplay! Please remember that this is a family friendly event, so costumes should be appropriate. Please do not bring any realistic looking weapons.
