The mother has angry and verbally abusive outbursts, and the daughter is nearly impossible to care for. Millie leans on the husband for support through her days there until the family’s terrible secret is revealed.
If you are a fan of Gone Girl and love an unreliable narrator this is the book for you! I could not put this one down. There are so many twists, turns, and surprises that it will have you guessing until the last page and leave you begging for more. The good news is, it is part of a trilogy with the third book coming out in June.
