Warren Leach is owner of Tranquil Lake Nursery in Rehoboth, Massachusetts, a prominent grower of Daylilies, Iris and distinctive perennials and woody plants.

He is a passionate plant collector, nurseryman, horticulturist and landscape designer. Over the last thirty years, Warren has created beautiful landscapes throughout New England as well as making captivating and educational display gardens at Tranquil Lake Nursery.

He is an award winning landscape designer, twice receiving the National Landscape Association Regional Certificate of Merit for Residential Landscape Design.

Images of his garden design at Brigham Hill Farm in North Grafton, Massachusetts are archived at the Smithsonian Instution in Washington, D.C.

In 2009 the Rhode Island Nursey and Landscape Association presented him the 1st Place Award for Residential Design and Installation for his ornamental vegetable garden at Brigham Hill Farm.

In 2010 Roger Swain presented Warren and his wife Debi Hogan the Elisabeth and Roger Swain Award for Design and Execution at the Rhode Island Spring Flower and Garden Show.

The Massachusetts Horticultural Society honored Warren in 2010 with a Gold Medal for his horticultural expertise, landscape design as well as years of forcing plants and creating exceptional displays in the New England Spring Flower Show.

Warren is an admired speaker and educator at numerous Horticultural Institutions, Botanic Gardens and Professional Organizations throughout the Northeast. He has taught horticulture and landscape design at the University of Rhode Island, The Brown University Learning Community, Rhode Island School of Design Continuing Ed, and Warren is a frequent instructor at the Arnold Arboretum of Harvard University.

This program is hosted in collaboration with the Haverhill Garden Club.

This is a hybrid program. It will take place in the auditorium, with a Zoom stream available to offsite attendees. Please select to indicate whether you will be attending in person or virtually when registering.

To protect patrons and staff, we will require masks for all indoor programs. Masks are required for all patrons aged 2 or older, regardless of vaccination status.
