This slow and thoughtful practice at room temperature will include yogic breathing, meditation, standing, seated, supine and balancing postures, ending with a deep relaxation. This is a safe practice to help increase flexibility. Options will be offered to help you personalize the practice to support your health and well-being. All levels welcomed, no experience necessary. A yoga mat is required and if you have any props (yoga blocks, towel), feel free to bring them.

Kristen Hewitt has a B.A in English and M.A in English and Creative Writing. She’s published a book of short stories and poetry called Ghostwalking: Poetry and Short Tales from Beyond the Grave, and has been featured in Encounters With the Paranormal: Vol 4, edited by Mike Ricksecker. She’s been an adjunct English professor for Bryant & Stratton College, Mildred Elley, and SUNY Schenectady County Community College over the last 5 years. Before that, she worked in education for over 20 years as a substitute teacher and various teacher assistant roles with students of all ages.
