Feel Good About the Health Resources You Access!

Have you ever tried to search for health-related information online only to be overwhelmed by advertisements? Our library provides health and wellness databases from Gale. Not only is the content relevant and from trusted sources, but there aren’t any ads to get in the way of you and what you’re researching. Now that’s something to feel good about!

You can browse by topic, we choose insomnia. All content types are shown for your convenience and the results can be filtered by Subjects, Publication Title, Document Type, Publication Date, Sections, or Search Within. You can choose to select documents that contain images, choose only Spanish content, or only Peer-reviewed Journals. Plus, find new topics or keywords related to your subject with the “Topic Finder.” This tool takes the title, subjects, and approximately the first 100 words from a subset of your top results and feeds them into an algorithm. So, the keywords shown in the graphics are those found most often in the text with your search term.

Here we selected the first article “Insomnia,” as you can see there are many option to save and send it! Including Google Drive and Microsoft OneDrive, email, download, and print. Accessibility features include font changes and Open Dyslexic, the ability to change the line/letter/word spacing, and the ability to change the background color. Articles are translatable into almost 50 languages and there is an option to listen instead of read!
