In-Person Library Visits

Appointments are available Monday through Sunday.

Please call the library at 978-373-1586, use the myLIBRO app to reserve your appointment time, or click the button below to reserve your spot online! We encourage those that wish to visit the library, especially to use the computers, to make a reservation to guarantee a spot. The Library does allow walk-in as long as there is space available, but it cannot be guaranteed.

On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9:00am-10:00am we are encouraging those in the “at-risk” category to visit the library during this window.

Be sure to read the library expectations for your visit below BEFORE reserving your appointment, and if you have any questions please contact the library at 978-373-1586.

We thank you for your patience as we transition to this new phase and we look forward to serving you!

Library Visit Expectations

CHECK-IN at the table inside the building.

Each reservation is for ONE PERSON and is for 45 MINUTES. If there will be multiple people in your visiting party, please make multiple reservations.

BOOK RETURNS must be done outside the library. Please use either the automated return window or the black return bin to the right of the entrance. Staff CANNOT accept returns since items need to be quarantined for three days. This applies to curbside deliveries as well.

MASKS ARE REQUIRED and must remain on while inside the building. Your mask must cover your nose and mouth at all times. Failure to observe this requirement will result in your removal from the library and could impact any future reservations. If you do not have a face mask, one will be provided for you.

BATHROOMS will be for hand washing ONLY!

TABLES will be limited.  Call for an appointment.  Masks MUST be worn at all times and all policies followed. Tables can be used for a MAXIMUM of 2 hours with NO back-to-back appointments.

COMPUTERS are limited to the adult computer lab and we can only accommodate SEVEN patrons during each time slot. If we exceed capacity, you will be contacted to reschedule your visit.

MEETING ROOMS are unavailable.

CHILDREN’S ROOM will be closed to browsing; however, we have set up a small collection on the first floor for patrons. If there is a specific book that is not in this area, a Children’s staff member will be more than happy to retrieve the item from the Children’s Room for you to check out. Children’s and Teen computers will be unavailable.

SPECIAL COLLECTIONS will be closed until further notice. You can still submit online requests for obituaries or research inquiries by emailing
