About Our Kids’ Department

The Haverhill Public Library Children’s Room is located on the 2nd floor. Board books, picture books, award winners, chapter books, fiction, non-fiction, graphic novels, Spanish-language books, DVDs, audiobooks, and many more materials are available for circulation. The Children’s Room has materials for all children up to grade six. Our staff is eager to see you in-person to help in any way we can!

Starting August 25th: MASKS ARE REQUIRED for all children and caregivers regardless of vaccination status and must remain on while inside the building. The CDC recommends that everyone 2 years of age and older should wear a mask indoors to minimize spread of the Delta variant in areas of substantial or high transmission per CDC guidance. We understand it can be challenging to wear a mask, especially for children. The previous link has tips for helping your child wear a mask. Our curbside services remain available if your child is not ready to wear a mask. Our staff is happy to put a bag together for you. Please call us at 978-373-1586 x 626.

Be sure to read the library expectations below before your visit.

We thank you for your patience as we transition to this new phase and we look forward to serving you!
