About Our Kids’ Department
The Haverhill Public Library Children’s Room is located on the 2nd floor. Board books, picture books, award winners, chapter books, fiction, non-fiction, graphic novels, Spanish-language books, DVDs, audiobooks, and many more materials are available for circulation. The Children’s Room has materials for all children up to grade six.
The Children’s Room is not currently open, but there is a mini-browsing collection of popular, new, and seasonal titles on the first floor. Also, staff can put together curbside pickup bags for you and bring them right out to your car. Just browse the catalog for your materials, place the items on hold, and arrange a curbside appointment when you’re notified your holds are available. Click here for information on curbside pickup and in-person browsing.
Not sure what you’re looking for? No problem! Youth Services staff can help put together a bag for you. Give us a call or email and let us know what topic and reading level you want (i.e. dinosaurs, picture books, age 4). Please be aware this process can take between 1 and 3 hours based on staff availability.
