Go to College, Not into Debt – VIRTUAL
Tuesday, Sept. 10 at 6:30pm
Explore the complex world of need-based and merit based financial aid. Parents and students will learn about how to lower costs under the new FAFSA rules, the newly formed Student Aid Index (SAI), and tips for optimizing college admissions and scholarships. Presented by My College Planning Board.

9/23, 9/24, and 9/26 at 4pm
Are you looking to write an awesome college essay? Join Lisa Desberg as she guides you through the writing process and provides feedback. This is a three part workshop, and at the end participants will leave with a solid essay draft!

Career Planning for High Schoolers – VIRTUAL
Wednesday, Oct. 2 at 6:30pm
Career planning is an essential first step for students planning to attend college. It benefits students still deciding or needing clarification about their career path. Proper career planning can help focus their college experience, minimize unnecessary student loan debt, facilitate on-time graduation, and be a stepping stone to a purposeful and prosperous career. This workshop outlines the career planning process for students, the expected outcomes, and how a career plan can improve the student’s confidence in their future. SAT & ACT Success – VIRTUAL
Tuesday, Oct. 29 at 6:30pm
This comprehensive workshop will answer all of your questions about college entrance exams. Families will learn key differences between the SAT and ACT, the best time to start studying, keys to achieving one’s highest score, and how the SAT/ACT can impact merit aid and scholarships.
