Not sure which plants to begin with? Try planting some Massachusetts-native flowers! According to the Mass Audubon, “most native plants require little maintenance because they have evolved to thrive in our local habitats and growing conditions.” Below are five common flowers and greenery that are native to Massachusetts. You can find any of these plants at local nurseries! Most of these plants attract honeybees and common butterflies – leaving your garden brimming with wildlife.

We’re excited to offer the virtual program “Vegetable Gardening for Everyone” on April 5 at 6:30pm to aid your vegetable gardening needs.
