Damage from the recent winter storms forced the library to close from January 10, 2024 to January 17, 2024. Library administration and staff, restoration crews, and the City of Haverhill are working together to repair the damage. We are happy to announce that the library reopened January 18, 2024, but with limited services on the Main Floor only.
Please note that Special Collections will not be open to the public until the repairs to the building are complete.
Rest assured that the irreplaceable materials in Special Collections are safe. The Special Collections area sustained minor water damage only and no collection materials were ruined. We are thanking our lucky stars!
