We are happy to announce the addition of Bradford College photographs to the Senter Digital Archive! As part of an ongoing project to make our archival collections discoverable, we have been working on our largest one, the Bradford College Collection.
The materials in this collection were transferred to the Haverhill Public Library following the closure of Bradford College after the 1999-2000 academic year, comprising administrative documents, newspaper clippings, yearbooks, catalogs, photographs, and much more!
The photographs span over a century, from the 1870s to the 1970s, and they include studio portraits, snapshots of activities and classrooms, construction photos, and variety of theatrical productions.
Please note that we must employ minimal catalog descriptions in effort to make these images available online. If you are a long-time Senter Digital Archive user, you will see fewer details than usual. There is, however, tighter control over the Bradford College photos as a collection group, which makes for better browsing. We hope you enjoy this collection as much as we do!
Speaking of making more and more digital images available online, we uploaded the next 100 images of the Senter Digital Collection (click here for a selection) and started the next batch! We are featuring newly added images on our socials each Wednesday, so be sure to check our feed for some Special Collections highlights.
