Pride Events for Teens

--Teen Events Teens

Celebrate Pride by decorating some Pride themed cookies!

Grades 6-12

Teens aged 13 to 18 are welcome to join Giganta Smalls as she dishes on what the life of a drag performer is like and maybe pick up a few tips on make-up and costumes! Join us virtually on June 10th at 4:00 PM to experience the world of drag through the eyes of popular New England Drag Queen Giganta Smalls.

Giganta Smalls is the largest drag queen in captivity and is ready to take the world by storm! Based out of the forests of Connecticut, she lights up the stage with her quirky personality and charming performances

This program is in collaboration with the Rowley and Wilmington public libraries.

Stop by the Teen Zone on June 14 between 3:30 and 5 to make Pride buttons!

Grades 6-12

Make a fuzzy felted patch with wool. Pick from four rainbow designs. Use the finished piece as a patch on a jacket, or frame it for a unique piece of art. Pop up Art School will show you how to use a barbed needle and wool roving to make this cool accessory. Needle felting is fun and easier than it looks!

This class is for ages 11-18.

Registration required.
