This week’s topic (August 6) is Self-Assessment! The Library 50+ Job Seekers Networking Group meets via Zoom on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month, from 9:30am to 11:30am. Informal networking takes place from 9am to 9:30am and 11:30am to noon. If you are unemployed and actively looking, underemployed, seeking a new career direction, re-entering the job market after a long employment gap, or recently retired and looking for your “Encore Career,” this networking group program is perfect for you! For those who have never touched a computer or have limited mouse skills, this class will introduce the basics of having a computer, mouse, and keyboard. We will also explore how to find information online and develop web browsing skills.
This is a two-part program. Session 1 is on August 6, and session 2 is on August 13. Both sessions will take place in the computer lab on the second floor of the library.

The Windham Swing Band has been providing big band music from the golden age of the big bands to the present since its inception in 1998. The 18-member group performs concerts and dances throughout the year in New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Maine.
