What are the social and historical contexts that shaped the development of early hip hop? What specific events or issues typically trigger hip hop feuds, and are these disagreements related to personal conflicts or larger cultural issues? What societal factors and personal dynamics contribute to the escalation of conflict between hip hop artists?

Rondae Drafts is the Executive Director of MUSIC Dance.edu and an Adjunct Professor at Mount Wachusetts Community College. Rondae is a Ph.D, and researching hip-hop’s cultural impact. She is a Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania native, who graduated from The Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech Communication, she later moved to Massachusetts and received a Masters Degree in Education from Cambridge College.
