Leverage asks the question – “What if bad guys make the best good guys?” In the first episode of Leverage we meet our crew: mastermind, thief, grifter, hacker, hitter. This team, all the best in their fields, is assembled by a client to steal back his proprietary information. Once the job is done, they intend to never see each other again – until they’re double crossed. To get revenge and redemption, they do “one last job” together, taking down a bad guy and finding that they like the feeling of doing the right thing. Each episode that follows focuses on a new heist where the crew uses their legally dubious skills to protect the little guy from the rich and powerful. This show is a lot of fun, as well as stylish and clever, and the characters are amazing. The found family aspect of the crew makes the series especially endearing as they grow together across the seasons.
