Kids Room Visit Expectations

CHECK-IN at the table inside the building on the first floor. The second floor entrance (on Summer Street) will remain exit only until further notice.

Each reservation is for ONE FAMILY and is for 45 MINUTES. If there will be multiple people in your visiting party, please indicate how many people will be attending when making your reservation (either through the app or over the phone).

BOOK RETURNS are encouraged to be done outside the library. Please use either the automated return window or the black return bin to the right of the entrance.

MASKS ARE REQUIRED for all caregivers and must remain on while inside the building. Your mask must cover your nose and mouth at all times. Failure to observe this requirement will result in your removal from the library and could impact any future reservations. If you do not have a face mask, one will be provided for you. Any child not in a stroller or in a caregiver’s arms should wear a mask, unless the child is under the age of 2, per CDC guidance. We understand it can be challenging to wear a mask, especially for children. Here are some tips from the Mayo Clinic, click here. Our curbside services remain available if your child is not ready to wear a mask. Our staff is happy to put a bag together for you. Please call us at 978-373-1586 x 626.

BATHROOMS and changing tables will be open for the public to use.

TABLES will be limited. Masks MUST be worn at all times and all policies followed while using. Puzzles, crayons, etc. have been temporarily removed until further notice.

COMPUTERS will be limited. We can only accommodate THREE computer users at a time, in addition to our TWO AWE machines.

PROGRAMMING will remain virtual until the fall.
