PHASE I: 3rd Floor
STATUS: In-Progress
- 3rd Floor/Special Collections currently CLOSED – click HERE for more information on Special Collections
- Movers are in process of packing, crating, and moving all of Special Collections off-site
- 3rd floor offices are in process of relocating to the Auditorium
- Check back soon for official “groundbreaking” date
Phase I expected to take 3-6 months to complete.
Phase I includes:
- Moving Special Collections offsite: Collection will be unavailable until further notice.
- New roof
- New energy efficient windows
- New exterior
- Updates to Special Collections Reading Room
What is UNAVAILABLE during this Phase:
- All access to the 3rd floor

What is AVAILABLE during this Phase:
- Senter Digital Collection
- Both entrances, including automated book return and book drop boxes
- Elevator (1st and 2nd floor)
- Children’s Room – collection, computers, Cavallaro Room
- 1st floor – all books and materials, computers, seating and Milhendler Conference Room
