Adult Summer Reading 2025

We’ll have a Summer Reading Kickoff Party Saturday, June 14 for all ages!

Register for our Level Up at Your Library iREAD Summer Reading Challenge on Beanstack or in person starting Saturday, June 14!

All ages are welcome to join us for:

• 11AM-1PM: Shaved ice from Kona Ice at the main entrance! While supplies last.

• 11:30AM-12:30PM: Large-scale versions of Jenga, Tic-Tac-Toe, & Four in a Row on the Library lawn. Weather permitting.

• 12-3PM: Mini-golf & video games provided by OneUp Games in the Johnson Auditorium.

• 12-3PM: Super Mario Bros. crafts & activities in the Children’s Room.

How Does the Reading Challenge Work?

You can participate and track your reading/activity progress with either the Beanstack app or a physical bingo card!

• On Beanstack earn activity badges by completing various reading and activity challenges. Earning badges also earns you raffle tickets for exciting weekly prizes throughout the summer!
• If you sign up in person you will receive a bingo card with various reading and activity challenges to complete which will earn you raffle tickets.

You’ll get 5 raffle tickets just for signing up (and some swag if you drop in). For each box you check off, you’ll receive one raffle ticket. If you get a bingo you will get 5 raffle tickets. If you can complete the card, you’ll receive 10 additional tickets!

We’ll have weekly drawings each Friday from June 20 – August 29, 2025.

• June 20: $30 to Casa Blanca
• June 27: $25 to Academy Lanes
• July 3: $25 to Bruster’s Ice Cream
• July 11: $20 to Dar Rafiki’s
• July 18: $25 to Aroma Joe’s
• July 25: $25 to Heav’nly Donuts
• August 1: Dungeons & Dragons dice box from Creatorpult Games
• August 8: $25 Boba Tea and Snow Ice House
• August 15: $25 Wicked Big Cafe
• August 22: $25 to Wicked Axe
• August 29: $30 to Casa Blanca

We’ll also have a Grand Prize drawing for a basket full of games, puzzles, and a LEGO set in early September.
